This last Wednesday Madison's Moveon chapter, along with 300 others nationwide, held the Bush-McCain Challenge. The event consisted of a variety of us providing quizzes to passers by that included trivia regarding Bush or McCain's positions and policies. The person being quizzed would guess whether or not Bush, McCain, or both were the ones cited in the question, yet candy was provided regardless of how many they got correct. In regards to the Challenge itself, I thought it was surprisingly hard. It is quite true that when it comes to the issues Bush fights for most stridently, McCain will legitimately represent a third Bush term. Don't take my word for it though: take the challenge yourself and see how you do. If you do, I bet you'll find out how the more you learn about McCain, the more you realize how unwarranted his straight talking maverick reputation is. What he is now is merely this guy:
